Side projects
Built after hours
Some of these grew into a company. Some I gave away. Some are just me finding out if a thing can be done.
Grown up
The Retrostack apps
Each one has its own site. Join the list there to hear when it opens.
Still in the lab
Experiments and giveaways
The free dealer tools and spec hubs now live on Retrostack Software, the company these giveaways turned into.
WindowCalc
My first full quoting platform, built alone on nights and weekends. 17,700 lines, then released into the public domain.
Manufacturer spec hubs
Free, searchable hubs of public product specs and approval links, one per manufacturer. Nobody asked for them. I built them anyway.
Dealer toolkit
Eight calculators for window and door folks: margin and markup, financing, job profit, commission, opening sizes, glass weight and more.
Focus Bridge
A “where was I?” desktop app for people juggling too many projects. One box to catch the thought, then back to work.
OptionBotZERO
A paper trading bot that started as a council of AI models voting on trades and ended up a fast rulebook with AI in the background.
Focus Bridge
Hit a hotkey, type the thought, get back to work. It sorts the thought into the right project and shows you where you left off. Free, open code, and your data stays on your computer.

Retrostack Software
The apps grew up and got their own company. Retrostack builds Aperture, Eyewall and Quote Converter Pro, and it’s owned by Everything Windows and Doors.
